Idolmania

Being in a live telecast at such a big scale show really gets you going. The energy level was great and the people genuinely looked involved and excited. Imagine Singapore playing in the World Cup. Though I'm not totally convinced with the two idols' star quality and ability, it was comforting to see 9000 people cheering for 2 Singaporeans at such a big arena. Singaporeans really should love Singapore more I feel. Love Singapore.

Ubin Revisited

Ubin has been urbanised in our most favourite Singaporean way. How we love the way that our jetties are so clean and so organised. Ubin is brilliant for the fact that it is a non-touristy place unlike Sentosa. The true island life and its simplicity sucked us all in.









































Too bad the crew was only 3, Melia took some really great photos that probably surprised herself but good job there. We talked to some of the residents, store owners and former residents just to get the story behind this island. A very nostalgic and reflective tour on early Singapore and community life.

And why must all good things end with black pepper crabs and wild boar meat.

1st night of Paparazzi

The Singapore Repertory Theatre

Working as both props and stage manager has given me a taste of backstage crew for the first time in my short-lived theatre career. Amidst all the tension, the bitching with the backcrew stage, it was nonetheless a refreshing experience. Communication via the walkie talkie with Rishi and Emily during the performance and full run was hilarious and stressful at the same time. Worked and collaborated very closely with Jessie, whom once i thought was stuck-up, turns out to be a brilliant partnership. My uncle's ex wife's name is also called Jessie. But that's unimportant.

Back in Hall

Getting to know more people in hall really helps in terms of getting support for events and performances like the one i just had for the Inter-block games (IBG) closing. Being an OGL during the hall camp, helping out with the hall pageant video and staying with the bunch of guys around me made residential life in school better.



This is probably is the best picture that we've taken as a band so far. We actually had an encore for the first time in our performing history and we actually talked, chatted with the audience. Had lots of fun that night and Benny spoke on the mic for the first time. Band chemistry still has to be worked on but I did my best ever job at cock-talking, singing as what a lead vocalist should do.
