Absolute repugnance
I didn't wanna watch it. I had no choice. I was playing mahjong at my friend's place facing the TV. The show : Huan Le Dian Feng. The team behind the show : J Team Productions or Jack Neo Corporation. I had to endure an hour long for all this nonsense flashing in front of me. I complained, I sweared and I cursed. End of the day, it didn't fuck me up. I decided to fuck it instead.
They keep emphasizing that it's their 6th or 7th season, some show that's doing oh so well, where it's just some residual product from the far more superior Taiwan variety world. The worst part of the show was definitely the loser contestants in the singing/imitating segment. They were all Malaysians desperate for their 15min of fame. This show was their platform. The first guy another of those R&B wannabe attempting to do a David Tao ended up singing worse than David Gan. Fucking he tries to potray that cool, suave image. Zero looks, voice, moves. You dunno how bad it was. The second was tryin to do a William So, heavy Malaysian accent, squeeky voice, sub-zero looks, you know the rest. The third was a mediocre performance by a 14 year old doing Theresa Teng. It was okay until the mother came into the picture and sang with her daughter. You mean they can't find talented people or people who can actually just hum a tune in Singapore and Malaysia? These people are just weirdos desperate to get on TV. Sickos. It's a cheapo show where the contestants can actually beg, cry and whine to get one of the judges to top up their scores. Seriously, fuck that. Another person in another segment thinks she's Halle Berry and wore a Malaysian made catwoman suit. Fuck that too.
Jack Neo is also getting me incresingly frustrated. He's acting as if he's the man with all the answers, the guru, the pace setter of the local film scene, the fucking award winning director. The forced professional views that he gives simply makes me wanna puke.
Henry Thia or "hui ge" as he is affectionately know is another eyesore.God knows why he is still around. Come on we don't buy repeated jokes used 10 years ago.. Creativity, Mr. Creative Neo. To think that "hui ge" claims i was his godson to the press 9,10 years ago...OK, you dunno about that, it's another story. I'm ashamed of my own plight. To think that i actually worked with this people when i was still a kid... Guess people like me must be swearing at myself too during that era.

Heyo, you angry angry man.
I just had a rehearsal with almost the entire J-Team crew... Pat Mok, Mark Lee, Marcus Chin, Hui-Ge... and tomorrow will be the kids. Ahahaa... What a huge sellout I've become.
