Making music
I completed my first ever music project with Felix, a good pal from my camp. The days in camp when we were talking about composing music, discussing lyrics, songs and music arrangements came rushing back. Some trivial thing that we talked about at the start of our enlistment ended up as a decent song near our ORD date that we are going to send for this song-writing competition.
My job was just to sing the song, tell the story behind the lyrics, add depth to the song, inject a little of me into the song. Felix did the rest. The guitars, the lyrics, the melody and the song. The music arrangement. We spent hours learning the song, doing takes, listening to the bad takes over and over again, discussing the fuck-ups and doing the song over and over again.
It was living a little boy's dream. Doing something we've not done before. Doing something that we liked. I love singing and he loves making songs. Agendas met. We were all amateurs and first-timers. That made it all more memorable. E-mail me if you're interested in listening to the song.

Heard it. Like I say, the song does little to show your talent. The song's not too bad, though I feel it leans towards being commercialised. Haa...
You haven't sent it to me.
