Topic of the town
Like what Dick Lee said, the initial idea of having the Singapore Idol final in the Singapore Indoor Stadium was over-ambitious and a little bullshitty.
So turns out, I voted for the eventual winner Taufik Batisah who's a real crooner. 5 votes. $2.50.
Justice prevails, the right person won. What a story it turned out to be. Wannabes to stars. Legions of fans screaming. Dreams and reality are really just neighbours.
But Taufik, as talented as he is, may struggle to find his feet in the industry. Asia is the only realistic place he could try making a name for himself but till now only singers outside of Asia has very successfully captured the English market in Asia. But who knows? Even Sylvester Sim has gone that far, anything could happen. Best of luck to him.
Recently i'm getting a little dry with this blogging or I'll prefer calling it something like a columm. I suddenly lost inspiration in writing stuff. So i'm really squeezing something out of nothing.

Sadly, as am I. As am I.
And I only voted once, because I didn't want the other guy to win and have it weigh on my conscience that I didn't do anything to at least try and swing it the other way. Perhaps there were many people who thought the same way, who'd never voted before, and that was why it happened the way it did.
If you're dry then don't write loh. Give it a break, write only when you feel like it. I mean, you can tell that some of my posts are mere filler and some are more into it, right? I should probably stop writing the filler ones.
